Could you be a Trustee?

Lisvane Memorial Hall is at the heart of Lisvane, offering space for local adults and children to meet for educational, cultural and social events.

This great treasure is managed by a team of volunteer Trustees on behalf of the community. The rental income is sufficient to keep the hall sound and warm, to hire services such as cleaning and gardening, and even to make improvements to the facilities.

However we do need local people to act as Trustees to ensure that the hall’s priorities meet the needs of the community we serve.

Could you be a Trustee?

We need some of your time, but this can be fitted around whatever else is happening in your life.

The Trustees meet every two months to discuss the challenges facing the hall and how to manage them. Some Trustees, such as the Treasurer or Booking Secretary, make a regular commitment to the management of the hall; others undertake small tasks or projects as they are able. If you can allocate some time to the hall, we can make use of it.

If you have a particular expertise or experience directly related to the running of a community hall, that would be great; but everyone willing is warmly welcomed.

If you’d like to find out more, talk to the Trustee Secretary, Chris Parsons on 2074 7241, or email him at ;
