The land was donated “in order to build upon it a Memorial Hall”. The Hall is administered by Trustees "For the purposes of physical and mental training and recreation and social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms, library, lectures, classes, recreations and entertainments or otherwise as maybe found expedient for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Lisvane without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions".

Lisvane Memorial Hall is a Registered Charity No 524175 run by a Board of Trustees and Regulated by the Charity Commission.

Lisvane Memorial Hall is independent of the Lisvane Community Council (which owns the Old School Community Centre) and the Lisvane Community Association.
