The Lisvane Memorial Hall AGM will be held on Sunday 20th May at 7.45 pm in the Small Hall.
The persons entitled to attend the annual general and special meetings are inhabitants of Lisvane Parish of the age of 18 years and upwards. At the discretion of the Chair, non-residents of Lisvane Parish who have connections to the area and an interest in the Hall may be allowed to attend. At the discretion of the Chair these non-residents may be allowed to speak, but are not allowed to vote. These non-residents will be eligible for election as Trustees.
If you are a member of a group that regularly uses the Hall, please consider becoming a Trustee and help us ensure that the Hall meets the needs of the users and the community.
The Trustees meet every two months to discuss the challenges facing the hall and how to manage them. Some Trustees make a regular commitment to the management of the hall; others undertake small tasks or projects as they are able. If you can allocate some time to the hall, we can make use of it.
If you have a particular expertise or experience directly related to the running of a community hall, that would be great; but everyone willing is warmly welcomed. If you’d like to find out more, talk to the Trustee Secretary, Chris Parsons on 2074 7241, or email him at email@example.com
