Could you be the next Memorial Hall Treasurer?

Lisvane Memorial Hall is an important community asset run by volunteer trustees. Martyn Ridge has been Treasurer for a long time and has decided to step back next year after 18 years of service, so we seek a new Treasurer. The role involves basic bookkeeping including invoicing the hirers and preparing the accounts for examination at the end of the year. It is an interesting and worthwhile role and an opportunity to become more involved in the local community. To find out more, click here.

We also have vacancies for Trustees in a more general role.

The Trustees meet every two months to discuss the challenges facing the hall and how to manage them. Some Trustees, such as the Treasurer or Booking Secretary, make a regular commitment to the management of the hall; others undertake small tasks or projects as they are able. If you can allocate some time to the hall, we can make use of it.

If you have a particular expertise or experience directly related to the running of a community hall, that would be great; but everyone willing is warmly welcomed.

If you’d like to find out more, talk to the Trustee Secretary, Chris Parsons on 2074 7241, or email him at
